The Senior High Youth Ministry is under the direction of Tami Voyles, Director of Christian Education, Youth and Young Adults. It includes youth from various high schools in 9th – 12th grades.
Summer
Montreat Youth Conference in Montreat, North Carolina: Come to a place where Earth and Heaven almost touch, better known as a thin place. Trinity’s own Miriam Ross is one of the directors for the conference and has promised a great week. The youth will be staying in two homes in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, where hiking and the great outdoors are a part of every day life. Come enjoy an amazing week of keynote speakers, worship, small groups, energizers, recreation, and mission work. The 2020 dates for Montreat are July 18-26. The deadline to sign up is November 27.
Splash
Splash is an opportunity for youth to experience wholesome summertime fun in the pool at members’ homes. It includes pool time, Bible study and a snack. Locations are posted on the Youth Bulletin board or you can contact Tami Voyles at tvoyles@tpcmckinney.org
Retreats
SHYC (Senior High Youth Connection): This exciting Grace Presbytery Senior High event takes place at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, and features a dynamic keynote speaker, small group discussion, and fellowship. The youth stay at a hotel for the Friday-Sunday event. In 2020 this event takes place January 31 – February 2. More information about SHYC.

Teen Open Hearts
At Teen Open Hearts we listen to, love, affirm and support one another because we believe that God loves every person just as they are. This gathering is open to all LGBTQ+ and ally high school-age teens. There is always a pastor as well as LGBTQ+ and affirming adults present. We meet the first Monday of every month from 7-8:30 pm at Trinity in the Loft (Room 300).
