McKinney CORE is inspired to take action towards racial equity in our country by embarking on a journey to positively change our community through unity.
Staring in April 2024, CORE has embarked on 6 community conversations in east McKinney. These conversations are being held to determine who is not at the table in the community and whose voices are not being heard by those in positions of authority. These conversations will lead to the Moving Forward Together Summit. This summit will focus on how McKinney citizens can unite to positively change the community for good and to advocate for equity within our city.
The Moving Forward Together Summit will be held at Collin College (McKinney Campus) on June 15 from 9 am – 12 pm.
David LaMotte will be the keynote speaker.
