Weekly Update from the Pastor – July 1, 2022

July 1, 2022 by Rev. Woody Brown

Dear Trinity Church Family,

This weekend is an important one for our nation. Fourth of July weekend we celebrate our “independence.” As we celebrate our independence, I think it is even more important for us to remember our “dependence.” We are dependent on others who provided our freedoms as citizens of the United States. We are dependent on family and friends for loving support. We are dependent on God for the very breath we breathe.

Please join me this weekend celebrating both our independence and our dependence.

This Sunday we begin a new preaching series: Trinity Is…

We will spend several weeks letting Scripture remind us who we are. I hope you will join us for worship at 10:00 a.m. This Sunday we will celebrate Holy Communion, have special music from Walteria Caldwell and Adrian Balansay, and take a deeper dive into Trinity Is…

Blessings my dear friends,
Woody Brown
Sr. Pastor
