Growing through Intentional Faith Development is one of the core values at TPC. No matter what your age or stage of life, we want to help you grow in your understanding of God, scripture, faith, and community through experiences that engage the mind, heart and body. At TPC, we offer a variety of Sunday School classes, covering a range of topics.
Below is a list of our weekly Adult Sunday School Classes that meet during the school year.
Daily Christian Living (9:30) – Coordinated by Paula Summers, this discussion-style class for senior adults is facilitated by various leaders focusing on applying biblical principles to our everyday lives. This class is not meeting over the summer.
Progressive Christianity (9:30) – Led by Dr. Derek Davis and Tricia Conover, this book/DVD discussion-style class is for those interested in exploring challenging ideas about religion. This class is meeting periodically over the summer.
Open Minds (9:30) – Led by Ken Helvey, this book/DVD discussion-style class class for anyone who likes to explore questions and ideas about faith. This class is meeting weekly on Zoom through the month of June.
Faith Explorers (10:00 am) – Led by Lacey and Alex Cesarz, this book/DVD discussion-style class focuses on navigating daily Christian living with our families. This class is periodically meeting over the summer.
Learn It and Live It (9:45 am) – Led by Dr. Jim Wilson and Linda Kelsey, this lecture and Bible-based discussion style class for senior adults focuses on Christian living. This class is currently not meeting during the pandemic.
Time Out (9:45) – Led by Sherry Rodgers, this book/DVD discussion-style class for parents of tweens and teens covers topics about marriage, parenting and our faith. This class is not currently meeting over the summer.
Young Families (9:45)– Led by Stacy Rachetta, this Book/DVD discussion-style class is geared for expectant parents and parents with young children, covering topics about marriage, parenting and our faith. This class is periodically meeting over the summer.
Making Sense of the Bible – A special 6-week class offered 3 times per year based on Adam Hamilton’s honest, relevant and captivating book, Making Sense of the Bible.
