The Junior High Ministry is under the direction of Miriam Ross. It includes students from local middle schools in 6th through 8th grades.
Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas: The youth will spend one week working on a farm, learning what it takes to work together and gaining a better understanding of hunger and poverty, sustainable food systems and community development. They will live in a village for a night where they must learn how to survive with only limited supplies and learn what it is like to be a person from different parts of the world. The farm work includes gardening, feeding animals, learning to milk goats, mending fences, and anything else that could be needed on a farm. Don’t miss this great opportunity! In 2020, the youth will be going to Heifer Ranch June 7-12. The deadline to sign up is November 27.
Splash Night is an opportunity for youth to experience wholesome summertime fun in the pool at members’ homes. It includes pool time, Bible study and a snack. Locations are posted on the TPC Youth bulletin board or you can contact Miriam Ross at email@example.com for the address.
GAP (God’s Awesome People): GAP Weekends, formally known as Spring Youthquakes, is sponsored by Grace Presbytery, and gives youth another opportunity to be at camp other than the summer to experience outdoor games, recreation, small group bible study and new friends. In 2020, the youth will be going to GAP March 20-22. Register here.
